Good morning. It rained all night at the rest stop outside Nashville and this morning is moreof the same. But I don't mind, traffic is not bad on a Saturday morning this early hour.

Before I left Florida, I focused on Orlando and going to the USTA.  I checked out more thoroughly the Pro Shop there at the USTA campus Center and made some contacts.

Next, I’m traveling on to Atlanta to meet with Nick from the Atlanta Brave and give him six units.

I arrived in Fort Myers on Tuesday, ready to spend some time with my old friend, Pat. The molds are still uncertain when they will arrive but they did get loaded on the truck last Friday. Jessica from the shipping company will contact me soon with a more exact date and time of arrival of the molds to Diemold.

It's been a very long, exciting and full two weeks since I left Blue Hill. Maine. I am reaching my max, been eating more than 50% good and resting okay. I can feel I'm not 100% so I look forward to resting in Fort Myers and replenishing.

Lastly, I had an opportunity to swim in the ocean as the sunset. The water and air temperature were about the same, mid 70’s.  It was wonderful. . .and a lot different than the cold Maine ocean water!

Strength

It wouldn’t be life without the ups and downs, the light and the dark, the positive and the negative.  Though we yearn for what we imagine to be a better reality, a better outcome, what vision or truth or sense of reality will work to get through the time of difficulty into the time of realization of that better place?

In other words, a “negative” experience has created in us an urge to change, to make things better. What understanding or strength will carry us through in our efforts and time to the hoped for “better outcome?”

Shooter's Elbow - Tennis Elbow - Golfer's Elbow: Anatomy, Technique & the Tool to Relieve

Shooter’s Elbow is a catch-all term that describes tendinitis pain on either the inside (golfer's), outside (tennis) of the elbow or perhaps both sides at the same time! From a shooter's perspective, tight muscles and hurting elbows keep one from shooting as much or as accurately as one would like.

The Importance of Self-Care as a Massage Therapist

If you are a massage therapist, your arms and your hands are your primary tools and they must be treated as such.  But this can be hard to remember when you are busy running your practice! How ironic it is that ridding your clients of muscle pain and restriction can be the very thing that brings your own career to a painful halt.

I personally neglected my own needs until I developed severe tendinitis in my own arms, wrists and elbows and had to stop working.  (The upside to that was that it prompted me to invent Armaid, a leverage tool to easily apply, in my opinion, the world’s greatest therapy technique to yourself.)
